She also served in ministry at Rawdon Hills United Church, Cole Harbour Woodside United Church, Port Wallis United Church, Knox United Church, and Fort Massey United Church while she was completing her studies at AST. Kim was born and raised in Nova Scotia and grew up at Woodlawn United Church. She heard her call to ministry while practicing a Sanskrit mantra when she owned and operated ALL Yoga in Dartmouth. She is mom to two amazing young people. Her daughter Leela lives with her in the home she purchased in Hebbville. They share their home with two cats and Missy Lucy, the standard poodle, who also works with Kim as a therapy dog at the church and in the community. Kim’s eldest child Lillian, is a brand new member of the Canadian Armed Forces serving in the Naval Experience Program beginning this fall. Kim serves the work of the wider church as a Regional Liaison and a Supervisor of Ministry Education. She is also very active with Affirm United/S’Affirmer Ensemble (AUSE) as the Affirming Ministry Program for Atlantic Canada and Quebec and as of November she will serve as co-chair on AUSE’s Board of Directors. She’s very honoured to be called to minister with you at Bridgewater United Church and can’t wait to see what Holy trouble we will get up to together.
